Well it's not Jacksonville and is still rural overall; not as many people. I feel that violent crime has increased over the last two years in Nassau County due to more people and establishments. Since the area is smaller and not as much crime as the big city of Jacksonville cops have more time to pursue and investigate cases. The convicts in Jax want to migrate their criminal activities to Nassau and Camden counties for some reason. I guess they think they have more of a chance of getting away with it if they don't live here.

Nassau County tends to have a whole lot of sex crime cases. The robberies have increased. I don't know how that is a decline in violent crimes. Maybe they catch them more often than used to but that doesn't mean crime is down. The two frequent crimes in Nassau are drug cases and sex crimes.

Sex crimes and drug crimes don't seem to be on the decline however.
