I'm not surprised by this at all. You don't have to look past this forum to see this is true.

They think Jacksonville is bad then they should see how bad Nassau, Clay, Baker, Putnam, Charlton (GA), and Camden (GA) counties are, not much better, and it's worse since it's rural/country. Jax is still the South though and close enough to Georgia. At least Jacksonville is the city and has some diversity and gay friendly areas such as Riverside but I realize the entire city is still controlled by First Baptist Church. Jacksonville still has a mixture of native white rednecks and African-Americans and large portions of both those communities do not agree with homosexuality or transgenderism (if that's even a word. lol.) Jacksonville is also very Republican though not as much so as the other counties I've mentioned in this post. The more rural and Caucasian an area is the more they tend to be Republican. Same thing goes with rich and religious areas. Jacksonville is still in the bible belt and I have no doubt there is a lot of homophobia and heterosexism. In the African-American community I notice it is more black straight women than black straight men who are gay friendly. Some redneck straight women are "gay-friendly" but my experience with a lot of them is they'll be nice to your face and gossip about you behind your back. Straight guys that are street smart and have been in and out of jail tend to be gay friendly for some reason and some experiment with gay men.

as long as it involved two teenagers who are of close age or consenting adults i dont give a damn who sticks what where, sucks what or licks what. isnt happiness what counts? and as far as teens go, its not like a lot of straight teens are chaste. i damned sure wasnt hence having my first daughter when i was barely 17. so no bigots can use that excuse about gay teens. and as far as the adults are concerned, as long as they are happy and arent harming anyone, who cares. this is no different than when people thought the indians, women, blacks and many others werent as " evolved" as they were. its all bullshit.

I am not responsible to like anybody, help anybody or enable anybodies preferences ... except my own. I discriminate rampantly against any person, idea or institution as-I-see-fit. That is my power as a free citizen.

I will NOT shoot down others who do likewise. That is my responsibility as a free citizen.

I have no problem with homosexuals. None. I want them to have equal rights in every way. But I resent the word "homophobia" that they invented. If I am homophobic, then they are heterophobic. that I am not homosexual does not make me a homophobe!

you arent homophobic..ive seen you prove that time and time on here. your first two sentences show that. the homophobics are the ones who hate gays simply because they are gay. you are someone who doesnt have hatred simply because they are attracted to the same gender as themselves. you are a good person. being homophobic is just like being racist.

It's good have straight people that support GLBT rights.

ive known several gay people and all of them have been good, decent people and i see no reason why i should hate someone for their sexual orientation. love is love. passion is passion. plain and simple. and hell, its not like us straight folk got it all figured out..hence the over 50% failure rate in marriages. and yet, a lot of straight people are offended that gay people want to marry. my favorite ones are the people who hide behind religion to justify their bigotry. if you dont like a certain group, be honest and just saY you dont like them..dont use God as an excuse. a lot of people when they see me before they good to know me would assume i would be against homosexuality because of the way i look. i look like a skinhead or neonazi or whatever...ive got a shaved head, goatie, piercings and some tattoos....so they are shocked to find out just how supportive i am. shoot we used to go out to sat night seduction years and years ago and it was all a bunch of roughnecks and some who have done prison time(not me!) and such...and one gay guy..a very flaming gay guy. and sometimes people would screw with him because he was gay, not realizing he had some bigass roughnecks with him. we got to smack the shit out of many people because of that. we all considered ourselves family, including him. ok..im off my soapbox for the night.

At the end of the article it was talking about a lesbian couple not showing PDA public display of affection -good I believe in love but I don't like it when heteros do this-a place and time for everything!I went to a gay bar with my sis in jax because of a talent contest and yes because she is a lesbian and no one discriminated against me for being straight-I was wearing wedding ring bands plus she told some people (haha)My point is am shocked that in Jax people are bigots it is 2009!!!!

I think one girl is hott. so two or more girls in the same video or photos are double and triple hott. But it's all a moot point because my wife wears me out to the extent that I don't even have he need to look t that stuff anymore. LOL

Not being straight I could probably still give you an answer to that question. Probably 65% if not more.
