Even in his toughest hour, Joe Durocher's thoughts were with helping others. It was back in the spring of 2001, when the beloved University of New Hampshire hospitality management professor learned he had cancer.

I have known Frank Durocher all my life, I can't believe he is gone. I grew up with him on Selden Street,in Newton, and the memories are all so wonderful. He was a special man, from a special family. I remember when all his daughters were born! Frank I will miss you.
