Former Marine

United States

This is a terrible crime, however, James Biela being a former Marine has nothing to do with it. Identifying him a a former Marine is nothing more than journalistic BS and an insult to all former and present Marines. What if he was a former plumber, would that be news?

I agree with the comment posted, it does not matter if he is a former Marine. What matters is that the prosecutors have the evidence to convict him. I have no opinion on the death penalty, if that is what the judge and jury decide I hope he has made peace with his Higher Power. The crime(s) are horrendous and he needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. I only hope that this is not a lengthy trial, for the families sake and the public that pulled together for this crime.

It also bring up the idea of how many of this type of crimes go unsolved, criminals unpunished and families left with the thought that 'that guy' is still out there. My thoughts and prayers go to the Dennison Family and all the other families out there waiting for the criminal to be caught.
