Whatever it takes,UNR has one of the worlds finest marching bands. That really keep the sprits high and are training a lot of future leaders of not only highschool marching bands, but of our country. A former band leader of mine always said "a kid who blows a horn, will never blow a safe. That was James E.Son,bass sax player for John Sousa's band. Leader and founder of the Long Beach Jr Concert Band.

Oh, I would love to be able to communicate with Kenneth Solum. James E Son was my great uncle--my grandmother's brother.Lots of family stories, but so many missing pieces. Could anyone help to reach him?
