If the 40% of people who live in Vegas that want to leave, would just go... The unemployment rate would drop to nothing. I say if you don't like it pack up and move back to where you cam from. I wish I never left and can't wait to get back.

OH, poor little Mike. So unhappy, calling other people names.
How classy. Look in the mirror, YOU are the type of people polluting our city.
Anyways, good luck to you in life, you're going to need it.
The truth is you're an idiot! You're also a hypocrite. You blame Mike for calling people names when you do the very same thing. Out of curiosity! What do you do in this fine city? make 6 figure income, sitting behind your desk all day long? congressman? big CEO? The truth is this city and people like you are the problem.

You think the unemployment rate would drop, then answer these questions.
1. Why are the unions moving their unemployed workers to differant states.
2. Why is the city laying off more people.
If everyone that was or is unemployed moved out the unemployment rate would drop but then you would be stuck with thousands of illegals.

The government needs to go after the companys that are hiring the illegals. Some heavy fines might help. People need to start turning these companys in, if they know illegals are working their. Arizona starting to figure it out.

Vegas is already stuck with 1000's of illegals. Have you ever lived there? They are everywhere. Of course the city is laying people off. Lack of work. Doesn't mean there is no work there. Union work has taken a nosedive due to construction being almost non-existent compared to four or five years ago.(I know, I worked in construction there)

I live in vegas now, one of the local labor halls just kiccked 800 illegals off of the property, so now they are standing down at the nurseries and home centers soliciting for work without anyone questioning whether they are legal or not, hell the police don't even give a shit anymore they would rather go after the american citizen that tries to do the same thing and take his truck and fine him because he doesn't have the license to operate a business

They've been hanging out at the nurseries and home depots for years. You are correct that the cops do nothing, but mostly it's because bureaucratic bullshit ties their hands. I met a cop from in Blue Diamond years back and we talked for awhile. He said that he couldn't ask for green cards unless there were 13 or more people in the car! I have no idea why cops are not allowed to do their jobs. Illegal is illegal, they are breaking the law just being here. It's a sad state of affairs when "they" have more rights than we do.

You sure hit that nail on the head, we have lost our country when our american kids are sent home because they are wearing american flags on their clothes in america.

Actually, I love Vegas. I just can't stand you little crybaby bitches who can't stand it when someone badmouths the town in which you seem to own.
My problem here is that with the town's growth, we attracted a lot of uneducated, third-class trash. Now obviously, sitting around on the internet declaring your love for Vegas makes me wonder what you do for a living and if you fall into that bunch, but whatever.
If you can't accept people having an opinion, get off the internet, fucktards, and get out of my town while you're at it.
Looks like you spend about as much time on the internet as those "uneducated, third class trash" that you referred to. What a bigot you are.

You failed in Las Vegas my friend, pure and simple. Don't worry, this past weekend the MGM, Paris and Palazzo were sold out...and even though you hate to hear this, there will always be plenty of folks visiting, moving to, living in and enjoying Las Vegas!
Don't dwell on your failures here in Las Vegas, it's all behind you now, forget about it. Enjoy Indiana and move forward with your life.
Over a hundred realtors arrested...and you say I failed....apparently you spoke too soon my friend....
