Did they stop him ( Kris Kobach) from giving testimony? Does anyone know?

The SPLC calls anyone racist that will not agree to legalize all the Hispanic illegal aliens!

Southern Poverty Law Center FACTS

I know this smacks of "journalism" but did any of the four Sun-Sentinel writers who attached their names to this "report" actually go to the SPLC site and look at the evidence themselves?
If you actually go to the SPLC's

"Hate Map"
http://www.splcenter.org/intel/map/hate.jsp

and look at the list of alleged "hate groups" for Florida, you'll see that the first 5 groups are not affilliated with any locale whatsoever. They simply float out there in limbo for the purposes of padding the numbers.
California is even worse with 14 of these "phantom groups", or 17% of its total and 12% of Texas' "hate groups" seem to be homeless as well. Of course, this is nothing compared to NM, ME and WY where 100% of their "hate groups" only exist in Mark Potok's mind.

But the SPLC takes in millions each year by promoting the fear campaign that "hate is on the rise" and so they bump the numbers up by 4 or 5 percent each year.

Eleven of Florida's "hate groups" belong to the League of the South, a Neo-Confederate group that you've never heard of because they've never done anything, illegal or otherwise. Seriously, people, do you really think the CSA are going to rise again?

Mark Potok is the PR man for the SPLC. He wrote 90% of this article and sent it, en masse, to thousands of newspapers around the world as a press release. You can read the original text of it here and see just how much hard hitting reporting the four Sun-Sentinel writers put into it.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20090226/pl_usnw...

Mr. Potok is now compensated more than $143,000 tax free, donor dollars a year to write stuff like this and to maintain his padded numbers and "Hate Map." His boss, multimillionaire Morris Dees receives more than $350,000 in compensation for his efforts in fighting hate. Mr. Dees saw fit to give himself a $20,000 raise last year, but hey, who hasn't done that themselves?
None of the top ten officers at the SPLC are minorities, unless you count the women. See pages 11 and 40 of the SPLC's most recent tax form and you can readily tell that they have a direct financial incentive in keeping the number of "hate groups", of which Mr. Dees is the sole arbiter, by the way, as high as possible to scare as many donors as possible

http://www.splcenter.org/pdf/static/SPLC990_2...

If a rank amateur like me can track down all of this documented information in a couple of hours, why can't alleged "reporters" at the Sun-Sentinel and the other newspapers do the same? This ain't rocket science.

Nothing about the SPLC surprises me anymore. Look at their hate list and not a single radical left-wing racist Hispanic group is on it. Biased source is an understatement.

LMAO! Understatement is right! Did you see this series, "Indocrinate U"? It is not only happening on college campuses (what an eye opener!) Honey C posted a link.

This is what she posted "I watched this on the Documentary Channel not too long ago. While it doesn't directly focus on Chicano studies, it gives an overall view of censorship and the punishment of those who colleges perceive break the "rules". It's been broken down into 10 parts on YouTube. It's WELL worth the time."

Indoctrinate U (Part 1of10)

I found the same techniques are being employed in the forums. I think you will find it very interesting, should you have the time to watch.

I noticed that too, they also try to find any little thing on any group/person publicly against illegal immigration, although they call them anti-immigration to try to make them look bad. Yet they end up making themselves look like idiots. They never talk about anything relevant or factual. That BS about the media being responsible for an increase in hate crimes is an attempt to shut everyone up. If there even is an increase in hate crimes (no I don't approve of any violence or harassment) it could be linked to a number of things. For instance, illegals burning American flags, harassing people, and forming hate groups and claiming this is their land.

That is exactly what is going on, it's a very commonly used tactic everywhere. I actually don't get why anyone would be racist for thinking everyone should be treated equally. Why does anyone listen to these people?

I have no idea what is in the mind of those that not only listen; but promote the agenda and follow the "talking points" by posting that we are racist/nazi/haters because we demand our laws be applied EQUALLY to everyone. Clearly they are clueless of the consequences.

The SPLC put the American Legion on it's "Hate Group" watch.

http://www.splcenter.org/blog/2008/07/16/amer...

The American Legion.
http://www.legion.org/homepage.php

The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness.
It is a not-for-profit community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.

****

By the time the SPLC is done, everyone in the United States who isn't an illegal alien will be on their "Hate List".

Anyone have any ideas about where the SPLC is getting their funding from these days?
My guess is the racist raza.

As far as I'm concerned, the Southern Poverty Law Center is now a "Hate Group" in America.
