This is unbelievable. I didn't know Jean Elizabeth Gillies but I feel as an Ole Miss alum I owe something to her. She is a classmate to all past and present. I don't know if anything can be done but I've faxed a letter to the MS Parole Board to let them know how I feel -- here's the address...

Thank you"Blonde ambition" I was a friend of Jeannie. She was an exceptional person and just full of life and happiness. Hopefully, more students as yourself will respond and fax a letter with outrage!

i am just sickened at this whole case it really makes you question the whole justice system but i have a question for anyone close to the family, I went to church camp probably around 1992-1993 with a James Gillies and his sister and I was wondering if this was any relation, I wanted to send my prayers to the family

Our system is really screwed up in this country when money can buy your way out of prison and this is exactly what is going on here.
How come, if this is the worse crime the detective working on the case ever saw, this creep did not get the death penalty? Don't we have a death penalty in Mississippi?
