"Saving Mississippi" by Jay Westfaul accurately portrays Mississippi as it was, and is. I laughed and cried all the way through. Westfaul's characters were so "real." The author brings his characters to life in such a way as if you feel they are part of your family. You laugh with them. You cry with them. I have never read anything like it and expect it to be discovered soon and made into a movie.
