he had ever known in his 98 years of life
i smell something familiar (appeasement)
as famaliar as neville chamberlain

at the warsaw peace pact in 1939 in munich
nev said to the HUN
i give you half of checkas(sic) lovakia
if you leave Poland alone
aid said okey dokey
nev went back to london
and chruchill smelled a rat
god bless and keep the sweetest babydoll

she dies at the age of 15 of typhus
in the bergian/holland nazi concentration
camp just 2 months before it was liberated
may god bless her and keep her till me
and my doggy pass and play with her in heaven
forever and ever and ever

Barak Obama the greatest President ever? Obama makes Jimmy Carter look competent.
Save this country, vote Republican.

?You seriously think that changing who's in office will make a difference? Poor, poor soul.

The President may not make a difference but Congress sure does. We need another Ronald Reagan. Vote Republican, save your country.

I lived near Everett's brother and got to meet Dirkson three different times when I was in elementary school. He always seemed distant and pre-occupied. Well, anyway, I left the area in the '70's when it appeared the Chicago communists were finally going to overtake our pastoral communities. I visited once and saw a new public housing project out Court Street and saw Peorians shopping at Marketplace or Vogels, I don't remember exactly. There were conversations about a new prison being built out Second, Koch Or Derby? I have never returned since. I hope you have not become totally fuxated. It is interesting to note that the author of LBJ,s Great Society civil rights bill, signed by Nixon, was written by a man from a white county. Everett M. Dirkson.
