Great...propaganda from two groups who don't even understand their own rhetoric.
Genocide is a planned elimination of a portion of the population. Abortion is a single act by a single woman about a single pregnancy. Nothing at all alike.
"Sodomy-based marriage?" Are they going to do something about all those heteros performing sodomy while married?

This year is going to be politically ugly.

It's been politically ugly since obama took office. The fun is watching the GOP candidates make each other look so bad that none of them will seem good enough to vote for.

That boy is very, very confused. He thinks I, Elise, am a male. Poor kid, can't figure it out.

Probably has his head filled with misconceptions.

I guess one has to start learning (and unlearning) somewhere.

He needs to work on his social skills a bit, no?

I'm anti abortion but a lot of the shock campaigns from anti abortion groups are so over the top and silly that it's hard to take them seriously. Like that truck that rides around with pictures of aborted fetuses. Technically all things aside there is no definitive right or wrong answer to the abortion issue on either side. As an independent minded person I am anti abortion basically because I respect human life even if it's as tiny as a zygote. But that is where I chose the starting point for myself. I also understand there is no guarantees of the continuation of life on earth so I am uncomfortable with turning life on and off again like a light switch. But I do understand that other peoples definition of life starts at different points along the birth cycle and that not everyone believes what I do. But I do get unnerved when I see both sides Conservative & Liberal try to bash each other over the head with useless arguments or overly dramatic drama queen shock tactics on the right or twisting laws to mach desires on the left.

PS I also get a kick out of liberals when they accuse other of needing to "learn" this or "smarten up" that. Or conservatives always yelling "God" this or "bible verse" that. Just because someone doesn't see it your hedonistic way doesn't mean they need to "learn" anything or to "smarten" up. Insulting someones intelligence cause they don't see your point of view the same way doesn't mean they are stupid. Also there are lots of people who are not Christian and I don't believe that religion should be forced upon people either. I happen to be spiritual but I believe in the dogma of organized religion and hitting people over the head with bible verses that have no basis in science. Technically I'm a spiritual Independent that sees both Liberals and Democrats as being rather illogical people. One side always thinks they are smarter than the other and yet both sides are swayed more by their "subjective emotions" than "objective logic". Though I'd have to say I've had nicer arguments with conservatives as they don't get extremely pushy, arrogant, and insult your intelligence when they get mad as much as the liberals do, specially with twisting everything I say around so they can win an argument. Or a liberals only augment consist of knocking down their opponents arguments without actually having arguments of their own. Or if I disagree with them that I'm stupid. Though I've met plenty of Conservatives that are infuriating to talk to. Specially if their brain is programmed with religion and their "IF THAN ELSE" sends me to some fictitious hell to win an argument. Or that if I'm in disagreement with them that I somehow hate America and I'm not patriotic enough. Or worse yet if I disagree with a conservative therefor I mist be a liberal. I wish there are more people out there that didn't think in terms of parties but logic. I do understand that certain moral issues include subjective feelings and that helps formulate laws but do both sides need to be so extreme with their polarization?

Prove that I, or any posters here are hedonistic.

We aren't demanding the right to hang out all day in strip joints, massage parlors and titty poledance bars here.

We are demanding Civil Marriage.
