It is funny people say that he put C.C on the map i thought it took a team to win or even go to state, not just one person. Now he will put C.C on the map by going to the pen for a crook something to be proud of. Maybe they should name the road that go's to the Fed prison in C.C Farmer road.
well it is a team effort but when you score 50 something points in some of the games you pretty much are the team. You gotta give him credit he was a great player!! Sure he has learned a lesson should throw it out and move foward!! Thank you!!!

A Hero---don't--You mean a Zero !!!!-----But it will be a joke, he will make a joke out of it and they will help keep Mr. Basketball out of jail, he might get a stiff probation and large restitution fine but then again they should make a example of him to prove a point and if they wast a lot of tax payers money going by dragging this out and going to trial and he gets nothing then a large group of Picketters should go to Lexington or Frankfort and ask to or for an appeal for justice in this case because it effects not just the party involved but every individual in this state that pays taxes and that is a bunch of people in this state about 7.3 million and not every individual is not a Richie Farmer fan or Kentucky fan,,this will be under a microscope and looked into by a lot of political polititions on both sides,.he ran and won as a republican in this state and this state is a democratic state. Well Pete Rose done federal prison time for just betting on games, he did not con or steal money from anybody and he didn't take money from players or the organization or his state. He Pete Rose use he's own money and he never even bet against the Reds and he is a nation world wide known athlete but he payed the price 60 months in federal prison and payed the debt to society, and he has and was the all time hits leader ever and he can't ever be inducted into the MLB hall of fame so we want justice out of this or else. Mike Tyson is another athlete world widely famous but he had to do time because he did the crime.

So what you are saying is if your good at something like a high school sport and a water boy for U.K you can take $450,000.00 from the good people of Kentucky when they are people and their kids do not have a place to stay or eat it's ok for Richie to steel and they should just give him a slap on the hand and let him go and tell him that's ok you was Mr Basketball 30 some yrs ago,so do not do it again. Put his ass where he belongs with the rest of the crooks.

You might be right they will let him go, but if they do they should let everyone out and tell them do not do it again.Richie Farmer's name should not even put in the same sentence as Pete Rose because Pete Rose is a legend not a loser or a crook.

No doubt Farmer milked the state. The truth is that this sort of thing is common for the higher ups who run our state. If Farmer had been a Democrat or if this was a Republican state, we would have never heard about it. He deserves the punishment, but it is a shame that the Democrats never investigate or punish their own.
well also for the last 40 yrs.the money that was supposed to go to the retirement system was diverted to other places, thats the reason retiree's has not had but a 1 percent raise in the last 5 yrs.why don't they try to find out where it went? it was legislated millions a year and didn't get 1/3 of the money!!ask any retiree.
