Drivers looking out is not enough!!!!!! When the sun is setting it is impossible to see people and even the lights! People on that road are often in a hurry as are the pedestrians crossing it! There needs to be a sky bridge! Is it going to take someone dying to actually have some initiative taken?

I agree 100%. Someone is going to die on that road (unless the crosswalk is removed), and the city will have a lawsuit on their hands. I don't understand why they can't see this.

What kind of reporting is this? What crosswalk, where. What was the damage? Are we talking broken limbs or just a close brush? Either way both are not good. But the local townsfolks are going to continue to ignore the problem likely until something serious happens i.e. the more severe the accident and frequency of them is what is going to get people motivated. Bad reporting such as this does not do the matter justice as you would like it to.

Seriously. Write a letter or something. How many people need to get hit before they *finally* do something?! It's not hard to build a pedestrian overpass.
