Big changes coming for single Mormons

Apparently the church is worried about those "lost sheep" who can think for themselves and have not fully accepted the BS force fed to them while attending Firesides and other YM & YW activities.
Why any church would endorse or encourage it's members to marry at their first opportunity instead of focusing on individual growth and compatibility with a mate is beyond me, unless it is for economic reasons (got to keep the 10% tithing coming in).
What a crock of you know what:
"Several leaders at last weekend's LDS General Conference urged young men and women to stop postponing marriage, which is, after all, the goal of all these singles wards.
"A central purpose of these [service, learning and social] activities is to help young single adults find marriage partners and prepare to marry in the temple and raise righteous families," says the church's new Handbook 2 in its guidelines for ministering to single Mormons ages 18 to 30."

Yeah, if there was a theme "flavor" at Conference this year, it was definitely "Get yourself married - NOW!" I think they're getting nervous myself - Personally I find it funny to watch paranoid conservative moleaders look nervously at their flock and wonder which one of them might be gay. I know darn well - and they do too - that this is indeed what's worrying them and is behind all this rush to the temple sealing rooms.
They're so in the dark about all of it that to watch their ignorant, fear and hatred-motivated behavior makes me laugh, cry, and get angry all at the same time.

"LDS institute teachers have tried organizing events in which a young man has to bring a date and have done some role-playing in classes. They hand out talks by church leaders and tips from the New Era, an official LDS magazine for teens and young adults. They sponsor dances and parties and meals."
I see nothing has changed in the YM & YW arena, hosted by the LDS church. The basis for this is simple. The more educated and "independent" a young man or woman becomes, the potential for them to not be a full tithing member. We can't have that now, right?

Oh, I see... It's not so much about the church wanting to be "in your pants" so to speak, as it is about them wanting to be in your back pockets!!

No wonder I left the church. I knew the church was full of it when I was 10. And with BS statements like this, can't all of the YM & YW see though it:
We hope youve got the message: You have no option to bounce around, he said, referring to a common practice dubbed ward-hopping in which young Mormons shop around for congregations they like.We know where you are. Weve got our radar focused on you.
"Ballard and other speakers acknowledged that the Utah-based faith was worried about massive losses of members in this age group"
More like Ballard is worried about the massive losses in tithing.

This is not a scientific conclusion, but my view is the Mormon ladies I have seen look generally hot. Since we now allow same sex marriages, bring back polygamy, and I think this marriage early and often might be very popular.

You have not been to Utah pal. While there are some "hot" looking Mo's, there are some "hot" looking Jews, Catholics and Muslims.
The amount of inbreeding within Utah has caused a vast majority of Mo's to have a "certain" look about them.
