Maybe we can send out billboards to outerspace reminding extraterrestrial to stop and see the "Thing" or buy real indian jewelry at the next exit at "Spaceport USA."

White Sands can also be seen from space.
Ali McGraw produced a yoga video there. Didn't change the world, but was a really nice setting for yoga.
Seriously, what would be the sell to extraterrestials? The "Thing" is already in Arizona, and they've, no doubt, already seen that when landing on the Lordsburg outback (there's a "certain" area where the ships periodically land, according to The Wizard, David).
Indian jewelry won't entice. They already have Moldavite, Gold and clear Quartz for accurate teleporting and communicating.
Need new suggestions.
