Russians are quite noted and even infamous for violating agreements, etc. Whenever it suits them. But their tactics of divide and conquer have not changed. It is still the old soviet mindset. The only things new in their equation, is they have to contend with a new potential adversary. If they implement their grandiose repeat of the WW 2 strategy. This time around, new and better technology and weapons of the West, and of course, the experiance of NATO. In addition, the USA would not take the initial stance that it is just a European matter. Even though many would suffer, Russia this time would be destroyed. But, common sense is not a Russian virtue.
Europe had enough of ruSSia and its imperialistic illness. It looks like ruSSian stocks and oil prices dropping and if things continue to go that way, ruSSia will disintegrate sooner then analysts predicted just like USSR did and for the same reasons too.

Mr. Puten speaks a dialect that is difficult to translate into English. Respect can be love, it can also be fear, or both. The DNC is speaking dependance, the food lines in Russia are no more, people have stopped standing with a hand out, they do that in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago now !
