This article doesn't provide a lot of information. At least, not enough to provide an informed opinion. I'm curious what documentation/evidence this litigious organization has.

How are funds distributed among the state and what's the deficiency amount between the "black" colleges and the "white" ones? What are administrators spending state funds on at each school? If the "white" colleges aren't being accused of admission discrimination, only that the "black" colleges have an unfair disadvantage due to lack of funds, why aren't more blacks enrolled at the "white" university? Do they not apply to the "white" college? Are individuals choosing to go to the "disadvantaged black" college?

On April 7, 2003, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools voted to uphold the decision to rescind the accreditation of Morris Brown College. Because of this decision, the present task at hand must be to raise the funds that are necessary to ensure the longevity of the institution.

It's just that more blacks are currently incarcerated than in college. That's what makes colleges seem segregated.

The problem is a lot of blacks go to HBCU or community colleges instead of flagship universities that are predominately white. University of Georgia or other flagship universities are going to get more funds than other schools.

The average age for a black person in college is 25, while the typical college student is between 18-24, so that's really inaccurate.

You would never guess it, but not eveyone loves chiggers. Some of us prefer decent people who live clean, lawful, productive lives. We like kids who know who their daddy is, who grow up without knocking up two or three girls and who don't sell drugs. You see? We like whites not kneegers.
