Are we really that sort of country? Are we really a nation so narrow-minded and nativist that we would deny citizenship to bright and talented young adults with the brains to become surgeons, engineers or astronauts? Are we so grimly determined to punish illegal border-crossings that we would deport young men and women who want to fight for the ...

Yahoo not posting our comments on this article:Lame Duck House Passes Dream Act for Illegal Aliens?
It seems the only way you can see our comments is if YOU yourself have posted to it and you have to be logged in and click the link to your comment from your yh profile page. Otherwise you can only see 5 count 'em 5 comments. Hmmmm very strange! 99% of the 22 other posts are adamantly against it and have double digit thumbs ups and NO thumbs downs. It is clear the American ppl have spoken. And yh is embarrassed to show how we really feel about this issue. As it is it took me 3 days and numerous tries to get my comment posted on this yh news article Here's the link to the article http://news.yahoo.com/s/ac/20101209/cm_ac/736... NOTE it only shows 5 comments but there are actually 22 comments I just read all 22 of them but yh wont show them to those who arent logged in and who have not themselves posted to this article. I know that many others tried to post comments to this news article but were obviously not as teacious as I was because in 3yrs I have never seen a yh news article with so few posts. Normally within hours there as many as 3,000+ posts esp. on a controversial news bite.

These kids are not at fault, nor are they going to leave America.
Our choices are to prevent them from working and paying their own way and therefore supporting them with our taxes through health care, etc., etc., or let them graduate, start working, paying taxes, paying their own way.
The act gave these kids 6 years to prove themselves and then if they do they get to go to work - as permanent residents, but not citizens, so they could not vote.
Why on earth did we decide to do what is worse for America?

Only those who voted FOR the bill voted for what is (would have been) worse for America. Most immigrants want to assimilate into American society and believe in the American dream, not the Mexicans or the rest that come from Central America. They seem to want to turn America into the shit-hole where they came from, with no respect for our citezens or laws.

Big changes are coming. The end to birthright citizenship and cuts to social programs that benefit the illegals.
America is celebrating.
