More special rights for illegals.

Who else gets to begin their sentence when it's convenient for them.

How will the illegal pay a $1,000 fine- in addition to her IN STATE tuition?

Where did the money come from; drug dealing, sex trade, chop shops,ID theft, tax fraud; there is no legal way for them to earn money, so what have they been doing?

Where is the car?

Whose car is it?

How was it registered?

Where are the parents?

The judge said she only had to serve 3 days and then do community service for a few hours. Maybe she could become a "community organizer" like Obama.

Who cares about the jail time, what about deporting her, along with her illegal alien parents? This is a bunch of crap! I understand that she has been given a social security card!

Yes, she has been given a Social Security card "so she can pay taxes". She will have to pay out of state tuition and she will have her deportation deferred until she finishes school.
Have you noticed that they have barely mentioned her parents other then to say they brought her here illegally when she was 10 or 11? They are protecting her parents.

What we really need is for about 12-15 million "community organizers" to go back home and Organize Mexico.

It needs it.

Mexico has plenty of "community organizers", they are called corrupt officials and drug cartels.

Why not use the immigration laws against her that her mother country would use against us.

It's a joke! We've been punked, AGAIN! When you're illegal, and you get more help, benefits, entitlements, etc. than LEGAL CITIZENS we have a problem!

According to an article on another thread, Coliti, could still face more problems. She made false statements to authorities, a felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $1000 fine.

When the story about this student first surfaced, I had some compassion for her...but that's starting to fade fast. It turns out that somehow she gamed the system and Georgia taxpayers are subsidizing the in-state college tuition rate on her behalf. Plus, she deliberately tried to mislead the Sheriff's Deputies and was driving without a valid drivers license (it's still not clear if she also failed to purchase auto insurance).

Little by little, things are stacking up against her. She may not have control about being brought here illegally but she is an adult now and needs to take personal responsibility for her actions.

Ah yes, one more voter for the illegal immigration apologists. Geesh, the apologists give out benefits and freebies like candy to kids - and then bring them around to this twisted and pervented "Entitlement" mindset.

And then we wonder why we're broke. It never ceases to amaze me. How we are so quick to give those who break our laws and abuse our system everything under the sun. Then turn around and chastise and berate those who are RESPONSIBLE and obey the law. I don't get it! The hypocrisy is mindnumbing. It's LOOONG past time to get our house in order and start treating crimminals like crimminals and citizens like citizens!

CONSERVATIVE - At one time I wondered WTH was going on, why is this nation for all intents and purposes broke - I then came to my senses and saw the evidence.
The "give away" of almost everything and everthing that decent folks WORK for and EARN through their labor.
Agreed, the hypocrisy is indeed mindnumbing and it is long past time to clean house.
You state "I don't get it", that is perfectly reasonable due to the fact that this charade defies all common sense.
Something for consideration, the pandering and molly coddle to the illegals and those that aid and abet the illegals is due, IMO, to the politicians lust for their amnesty and hence their votes. The politicians can not resist that perverted temptation.
