Is this why they don't pay us any interest, to speak of, on our savingings and CDs? That is nice of them to distribute OUR interest/profits/investments to the village children. It would have been less worse, if only they had asked us first. But, like ya know, most of us would have got mad and said "NO!".

What resposibility does the parent have in preparing their child? I guess, none.

I agree. YOu have to go to the credit unions now to get higher CD rates. Obama is a Jimmy Carter clone but we need the high CD Carter rates! I remember some being over 10%.
