This article is so idiotic that you only need to read about 10 lines to realize it is written through the prism of a racist's mind. Someone who will never be able to reconcile past transgressions committed against, under the worst case scenario, ancestors in a bygone era. They apparently must contend that although George Zimmerman, who mentored minority children, defended an oppressed black man, and took a black girl to his high school prom, is a racist. And their reasoning for this conclusion is that Zimmerman's acts were all an elaborate ruse to deflect his true nature, which was contempt of the black man. Ultimately resulting in his accompanying a black girl to a high profile public event, because his real intentions were to exhibit what the culmination of the American Dream can be…..remember the stupid expression…..everyone should own a black person.

An idiot like the author of this article clearly demonstrates that Obama did nothing to form a more perfect union as a past great statesman once said. The separation of races is greater than ever. And as long as people climb on board Obama's campaign platform, which called for a vote to exact your "revenge" for whatever transgression you perceived you suffered, we as a country will never elevate ourselves from a culture obsessed with retribution for the sins of the past.

Then is it time America tells the indians, "we're not giving you lazy drunks another dime?"

As greed fueled slavery and into the 20th century, peonage, so it is with them. In 1998, the average per capita yearly net income for every indian man, woman and child (to 1/64th indian) living on a reservation was $187,700 from all sources (BIA, oil rights, gambling, tourism, health care, etc.) yet 92% lived in poverty and unemployment topped 97%! I don't know what the latest numbers are but I doubt they've improved much, if at all.

Another bullet you can fire; it's been documented by science (DNA from bones found along the Kennywick (sp) river in Washington state of all places) and confirmed by the Supreme Court that they probably weren't the first arrivals in North America as they've been claiming!

No more handouts. I would suggest, if it is necessary to resolve the sins of the past, we bulldoze everything, determine who is entitled to the land as a birth rite, and let them have it as a means of recompense. Everyone has benefited for generations from all of our ancestor’s contributions to build, innovate, and advance the greatest country on earth.
