Take a gamble on casinos. Sorry I just had to say it. Thank goodness I don't get paid to be a comedian. I'd starve.

How can any person with even minimal intelligence believe the TV and other ad information sponsored by the casinos? I have yet to recognize any of the agencies cited for providing the studies in favor of voting FOR casinos. Having been to Atlantic City, Lake Taho and Las Vegas (NOT to gamble)it seems to me that the casino owners ought to be hanged at high noon in the public
square. THEY are the REAL beneficiaries of casinos. I am appalled that our Ohio Governor, for who I voted once and once ONLY, supports them as one means of helping the economy. Casinos are Sharks who prey on the addicted and stupid. What they do ought to be classed as a crime in the laws of every state and our nation.

Nevada has had Casinos for years and it only brings so much Crime that they have to make laws abating the Crime and making it legal just to keep from having to build bigger jails. Casinos will bring more Corruption than ANY city in Ohio will be able to handle. Robbery, assault, burglary, auto thefts, murder, rape-- all these would increase drastically with Casinos. If you're afraid of being robbed and shot now, you may well get ready to fear personal attacks of crime a whole lot more if Casinos come to Ohio. The citizens of Ohio just need to look at the huge number of HOMELESSNESS in Nevada to see how little good Casinos do. Crime rate didn't get better with Nevada Casinos-- it only makes sense to VOTE NO against Issue 3. For the sakes of Ohio communities and our future-- the children, VOTE NO on Issue 3 and keep the Casino Crime Bosses out of Ohio.

It's all the 'fraidy cats who want Ohio to stay in the 18th century.
Crime will not increase due to casinos - Ohio already has crime, prostitution, shootings, theft, drugs, abuse, alcoholism. The "just sayeth nay to evil gambling" are also the folks who happily gamble every chance they get (bingo, vegas nights at church, the college game, etc).
The casinos WILL provide jobs, not the millions lost in the state due to the far too restrictive laws of the state, but SOME jobs.
Will the casinos need to bring in experienced workers from out of state to TRAIN employees, of course they will - unless you've worked at a casino, you don't know the best way to deal at the poker table to keep people interested in the gaming.
The ad saying "Not ALL the jobs will go to Ohio residents" is a smoke screen and causes the retards to keep their heads up their own petards.
Bring on the gambling, let's get SOMETHING fun to do in this state that doesn't involve useless poisonous little nuts (ya know Buckeyes).

Of course Crime would go up. You'd have to be ignorant not to realize that if you put the Casinos in(and its heavy gambling with money flying around at fever pitch), thieves etc. will be on the rise.M-O-N-E-Y. Of course we now have gambling, prostitution etc. right now, I'm just saying that crime will increase because Casinos bring in a lot of CRIME, period. If that's what Ohio voters want instead of trying to DEcrease the already high rates of Crime, then we get what we vote for-- more Crime and not enough jobs to make it better.

See and they are judging me mean and nuts because I called them out on their hypocrisy and wanting to spread nothing but fear & hatred.
No one forces anyone to:
1. drink
2. gamble
3. dance
4. smoke
5. go to church
6. go fishing
7. shoot deer in trailers at the amish deer parks
8. swing on flying trapezes

They abhor all in the above list but #5.... go to church.. where they gamble at vegas nights & play bingo!

I wasn't trying to say that casinos was going to bring all of that, I was trying to say that everytime casinos have been on the ballot I have heard people were backing it and still there are no casinos in ohio.
I personally don't care if there are casinos in Ohio.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
