Nuclear Age turns 70 commemorates dangerous science not evil war. Nuclear power could be a safer alternative if we built them as far away from people and earthquakes as possible.

While we note this is an opportunity to note other dangers. Corn syrup in only one discarded soda can can destroy an entire humble beehive in the Northern Hemisphere, since genetically laced hardy insect terminator corn is crossbred by the wind. As spider web is genetically implanted in goats to make gloves stronger than steal, what other terminator plants and creatures will get out of human control? This kind of research needs to be conducted safely in an old germ warfare lab.

And even more important date to remember is March 1, 1954 when what was supposed to be a small Hydrogen bomb zapped the citizens of then paradise. It's macaque that for most people the word “bikini” now stands for a bathing suit. The islanders from their point of view waking up to two suns in the sky that morning.
Just like with the Large Hadron Collider a few scientist feared destroying the world when the first nuke tests took place went off that Lithium unexpectedly joined the chain-reaction, means the fear monger's math was closer than most realize. The main reason Collider Black Hole resource was considered safe is something called Hawkins radiation which a growing number of physicians now doubt. 8The are many ways we might destroy ourselves add them all together and the odds become ever more likely. We must honor those who warn of danger or the distant or not so distant future might be missing from earth life itself.

We need to wait for earth life experiments for attempts to create a micro black hole, which could be already growing at the center of the earth.
