Um, actually not even close to reality. Piercings have actually gone down in popularity, the ones with extreme piercings are often doing so because of religious or this tribal fad that's also becoming less popular now. However, piercing is not really that extreme today compared to several hundred years ago, it's also a lot safer. Are you browsing fetish sites again? Those are a poor source of news, they'll completely skew your world view.
I've witnessed that reality. It was only an example of the mental and physical extremes people will approach in order to validate their basically narcissist, immature perception of reality to each other and the other patients on their particular ward.

Straight men already do. at least most of them. And I'm not referring to "admirers" or trannychasers! I go to public places and I don't pass(I don't care). Many times I have men hold doors for me.(I want to melt) and other small courtesies. I get very few hard looks. And I mean very few! I get more hard looks from the Gays down in New Hope than I do in a Flea Market or while shopping at Bottom Dollar.

I do get pleasing looks from men;and,I like it very much. Some have even commented on my new hair style.Yes,they do hold doors for me also.I still don't sense the same "affection"from other women. That will change.

You're mixing stylish behavior with a physiological disposition. Most TSes don't bother with trying to be attention getting with bizarre body mods. We just want to be regarded as the women we are inside. Transexuality does exist! Hundred of years and investigations prove this. Jesus mentions this in Matthew 19:12 (The third type of Eunuch). The question is, what are we going to do about it? Sure you could lock us up at taxpayer expense, to live out our lives in a miserable institution, or you can leave us alone. To do what we feel compelled to do. TSes are non violent. We are very intelligent and good looking. We give more to society than we take. For more, go to Lynnconway.com

This is good... now we have gays and transsexuals both confusing themselves with eunuchs and attempting to use Scripture to confuse others. People and I generally are neutral to such displays, but carry it a bit too far and you'll get the reaction you're after.

T-women are WOMEN;not gay men,or eunuchs.I certainly DO NOT use the Holy Scriptures to confuse anyone.I have,in fact, consistently warned against literal intrerpretations of Holy Scriptures.

Eunuchs are a completely different subset of humanity, and they are actually a fetish in the US. Nothing mystical about them.

Trans people do not want to stand out, they want the exact opposite, your entire point is marred by your desire to hate anything that is different. I'd wager you have actually associated, and likely even flirted with, many trans-women in your life and never even realized it. I have met very few that can actually be distinguished as trans cosmetically, and many women that I swore were trans but were actually genetic women. You are so closed minded that you just make assumptions based entirely on your prejudice without ever even taking the chance to get to know anyone outside of your tiny world view because you know they would challenge all your preconceived notions.

Get back to the barn where you belong.

Incorrect, you saw some people with some piercings that were not your personal taste then prejudged them based on your completely erroneous and flawed world view that is as small as a cracker crumb. Your entire life experience could fit on a three by five card and probably would not even require a dictionary or psychoanalysis to know that you are nothing but a pig headed, egotistical, megalomaniac who likes to tell everyone else how to live in spite of having really perverted kinks that you just hide better than they do.

Steph. T-women are Eunuchs and have been for centuries! Google Hijra. Before there was SRS, there was castration! The eunuchs of india and the new testament are Transexuals! Each is a version of each other. They are not separate things!

Not anymore, there is now an actual cultural divide in America and Europe now. Most castrated men call themselves eunuchs and there is even a whole fetish scene for them as well. In the past they were, but things change.

I didn't know about them. In the past, even the recent past. Many TSes castrated themselves to achieve "nearness" to their target gender. It was not a fetish. It was the only solution available. In India, until quite recently, SRS was illegal. Now the Hijras can get hormones and surgery, I think the amount of castration will diminish. In the US and Europe, there were, until recently so many traps one could fall into by exposing oneself as a Transexual that a few sought a very private solution that involved doing the operation (castration) by themselves. Some of these DIY SRSes ended tragically when they bled out and couldn't stop it in time.

Hijras were not just castrated either. ;) They did full nullification actually. That was why they had a high mortality rate. It gets even stranger the further back into the past you get. In spite of how long it took India to start moving forward, they're doing it at an unbelievable rate, moving faster than any other country. Of course this isn't a surprise, look what they did when they embraced the scientific method, passed us in medical advances by leaps and bounds within only a few years.

It kind of makes you wonder what has been holding them back all this time, it's like a floodgate has been opened there.

Terry,I believe that the eunuchs of the hijra, and also those of the Old and New Testament were men who underwent castration for Religious reasons;not for gender change.

I agree with you completely,Kitten. Most eunuchs today are indeed, castrated men;they are not,for the most part,Women.T-Women,in my opinion,do not need to undergo castration or SRS;because True TS-Women always were Women. The same argument can be made for Inter-sex undergoing surgery. It's simply not necessary.Castration or SRS only gives you the physical appearance of the chosen gender;it does not confirm the validity of a particular gender. It is a fact,we are born with the gender that we possess. The truth is that there are and always will be men who want to pass as women;and, there are women who want to pass as men;i.e.crossdressers.

Yes,I agree,India has made very significant advances in many scientific fields. One fact, however, has me puzzled.India has the HIGHEST rate of FEMALE INFANTICIDE of any known society.

As I said, that country is a mystery. I don't get how they manage to do so well in spite of some obvious flaws.
