Just happened to be browsing and brought back many good memories of Fairbanks 1956 -58. I had access to small airplanes and ferried planes to Nome via Galena over Ruby. There are two still wasting away out there. Herman Nelsons and heated oil. Wolves howling in the night...Anyone interested in hearing old time stories re; Fairbanks and central Alaska from an old time bush pilot. Contact [email protected]
