This one had a far better explanation than the other panel, explaining the system as an accretion event from a now more distant companion after a close pass.
Would still like to see the hubble photo of the "Carafe galaxy" which is an other case scenario of a piercing impact by an elliptical through the outer part of a spiral with the core of the "Carafe" flipped & sun by precession forming its bottle shape and starburst.
