Everything is "if" "if" "if". Here's the deal. We already know illegal aliens cost us plenty. Putting a law into effect and babbling how it's costing the state is ridiculous. Until it's been in effect for several years there's no way to tell exactly what effect it will or won't have. Illegal aliens didn't cost us this type of money years and years ago, yet they sure cost us now. So while maybe these new laws will cost a bit, they will also save, and until we put them into practice for years, we don't know the true outcome.

On top of all of that, if a company cannot stay in business without illegal labor, they simply shouldn't *be* in business. That's common sense. Instead of whining, they need to figure out how to survive with legal labor, or they need to admit defeat and close their doors.

This article is a bunch of crap! They are saying that illegal aliens are vital to the economy!!!

Whenever I hear that, I always think of Callie, going down the tubes. What fools they take us for!

The only reason jobs previously held by illegal aliens go unfilled is that the farmer are restauranteer is still trying to pay subminimal wages!!! Greed!!!!

How dare they belittle the fact that AL's unemployment rate decreased when illegal aliens left!!!

More MSM propaganda!

It's a bit of irony that the left, which fights quantification of the resources illegal aliens use at every turn, can turn on a dime when a restrictive law is passed and divine the 'costs' of such a law within milliseconds. This despite not having firm numbers and no real idea exactly how many illegals are even in the country.

Oh, why be circular about it? The left lies - alot.

Unless the cost of deporting illegal aliens is over $300 BILLION a year or 4 Trillion over a decade, it is cheaper to deport them.

Well, please, provide us with statistics showing none of us want to work. LMAO!

You're crazy and terribly misinformed if you actually believe that.

You can add yourself as one of the most ignorant people yet.

The United States does not OWE any foreign national *anything* much less a "better life". They can fight for that "better life" in their own countries, much like our ancestors did here. If they don't care to, then they can live without the better life they'd like, or they can apply to come to the U.S. LEGALLY, and accept whatever decision is made on their application.

They can support their families in their home countries, not in this one. And, if they cannot, then here's a novel idea: DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN YOU CANNOT FEED!

I don't know about anyone else, but I work. I've never taken any sort of governmental assistance, and never applied for or received unemployment.

I have no clue who or where you think all these people are that don't want to work, but you are ignorant to keep yapping about it, since it's not true.

Based on what YOU say, there are only about 7.7 million people working, since out of the illegal aliens here, stats find that 7,700,000 of them are working. So out of the 318,000,000 people in this country, only 7,700,000 are working? Really???? It is YOU who is ignorant.

Who do you think runs the USA, you moron? US citizens. Duh. You need to get out of the barrio more often and see how big the USA is and what 300 million citizens mean. Real life in the USA is more than what you can steal from it, idiot. The USA is for US citizens, not foreigners. Foreigners who aren't invited here don't belong here and don't get to have a better life here for any reason. Their lives are NOT our problem.

You are a prime example of why immigration laws should be more strict. How did someone like you get in? If you were born here, god help us all because you actually get a vote.

Scre**w You! You don't know what you are talking about. America was the greatest nation in the world!!! You don't become that with lazy people. We are currently going down the tubes because illegal aliens accept subminimal wages, and the business community thinks that's a good idea!

Shame on you for falling for the "jobs Americans won't do crap!"
