Mr. Kirk wants to believe in religious liberty, but Islam does not promote liberty, but it does promote violent justice and oppression. Nor does any religion consistently invoke or promote liberty, justice, truth, and love. Religion will never be consistent, universal, nor assure world peace. Islam in America, only further dilutes christianity's reign as the most followed religion. It will no doubt spawn a new sect of Chrislam, or Islamianity and become one more controversial sect.Any freedom necessarily includes justice, truth, and love. Are these four inseparable values being included and furthered? Only taken together do these universal, religious and moral principles assure human rights and advance world peace. No position on religious liberty is reasonable if it is not complete, consistent and universal.
Rev. Msgr. Thomas Kirk
I am very curious how Muslims will try to uphold the Islamic laws governing their beliefs, while being in America. They will no doubt try to establish Sharia law under a separate governing system.
