I had a brother over last night who said he watched a CNN special last weekend. The special was about attacks on Christianity in the US. He said in the special they reported that the ACLU has embarked on a letter campaign to ALL city and state governments notifying them that due to seperation of church and state that the use of prayer, the word God or any posting of Christian literature i.e. Ten Commandments is prohibited. So much for freedom of speech and religion.

I need to look into this, but the article seemd to lack the proper details of the actual suit. It looked, from first read, that someone was using this property as a private residence and getting the exemption...???

You people do not seem to have much knowledge about Alaska, The article says it was struck down, Alaska is a pretty free place.

What are you people arguing about that the court should have ruled that they should pay tax?

The court ruled they DO NOT have to pay tax, do you want them to?

I don't think most people have a problem with schools, even if they are faith based schools from receiving tax exception.

The problem comes in when this schools are teaching discrimination and hate, that is where the schools should no longer qualify for tax exemption because the schools are going out of their way to push a hateful negative agenda instead of doing what the school does, and that is to teach.
