Seismologists say Salton Sea earthquake swarm increases risk of major incident on San Andreas Fault

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake Tuesday morning got the attention not only of the residents near the Salton Sea, but also of many seismologists, some of whom say it raises the possibility of a major quake on the San Andreas Fault.
