After 50 years in exile for me 47 this month, it is normal to see the changes in generation of cubans and Politics. People have to experience Communist and Dictatorship to really understand what is all about. To read it in a book or traveling to a Communist country for vacation it is not enough to make a judgement. But this is America and even the American natives are showing changes on this ...election 08...

At last the Cuban-Americans are beginning to awaken and realize the failed policies of the past regarding U.S./Cuba relations are dead! Obama will begin the process to bring significant change to U.S. foreign policy toward Cuba - at last, a breath of fresh air and common sense - something missing for many years on this subject.

I agree Cuban exiles (Cubanamericans)have changes. The only one that hasn't changr a bit is Castro's 50 senile dictatorship or its leadership. Their younger leader is 74 years and the oldest 85.You can elect Obama or McCain and it won't matter. Castro's dictatorship just don't care to have better relations with the USA. Even after two years in power Raul has not made a single important or democratic change in Cuba, besides allowing Cubans to buy computers or to stay at tourist hotels. But there is a catch. Cubans earns $20 a MONTH and they have to pay more than a thousand dollars for a computer and at least $120 a night for staying at any of those hotels. I hope that none of the 'pinkos' at this forum will have the guts to deny this or to blame the 'embargo' or the 'mean' American Imperialism' for all of this !!

Hey Enano(Tinsnip13)!

'Enano'(Midget)!
Where has you been. Are you hiding yourself behind that elephant?Well ,I always knew you were weird! Enano,I'll be taking a short 11 days vacations. I'll be in Miami from November 20th and will stay in OUR city for a couples of days(I will be staying at my mansion at Coral Gables again..I love that 'shack'),then I'll go with my sons and daughters to Key West for about a week. I'll be staying (Of course you know how we rich cubans are)at one of the best hotels in Duval Street and will spend most of the time fishing'I like to go about 20 miles South, where you find depths of 1,000 feet, which are the perfect places to catch(Using electrical reels of course)my favorite fish..'The Yellow Eye Snapper. Hummm they are delicious, just fried or even better if you Beer Batter-fried the fish. Beer battered fried 'yellow eye' snapper chunks are one of life's great treats! We also most of the times, catch some groupers at those depths.I'll be ,as usual,at my favorite restaurant for lunch 'The Half Shell Raw Bar',which although not expensive is the best place to eat oysters, golden crabs etc, They even fry for me my daily catch (They love rich Cuban customers)! For dinner I will be around any one of these restaurants:
El Siboney (Cuban of course)Although 'the mod at El Meson de Pepe is more Cuban and better.Sitting outside and listening their Cuban music is heaven.
Antonia's
Square One
Cafe Sole
Cafe Marquesa (Enano! You should try their seared yellow fin tuna dusted with peppercorns humm.humm its just great).
I'll be doing also some fishing and snorkling close to the Dry Tortugas Islands.I'll will also give a try to some motor scooter (if I care enugh to leave my second home (Sloppy Joe's bar)!
Well Enano.I'm planning to record some videos just for you . How do you like that 'buddy'??
