Yes, it does "hit home" when one of your own commits a horrific crime...the family suffers the greatest. Eyes will be leering at them, wondering.."Didn't ya see any signs of his disturbed mind"..ALWAYS the parent's fault, society has deemed. No one knows their children's minds or what actions THEY may take once they leave the nest. Every parent only wishes the best for their kids and that they will adhere to the guidelines they were taught. When ya'all see this man's kinfolk..just say kind and heartfelt words. Afterall, your hometown is also their home as well...

Parents raised an honors college student who moved to another state and then committed an atrocity. Hate to put it like this but stuff happens.

There will a bunch of second guessing or monday morning quarterbacking. But for the most part it will guessing what the heck happend. A bunch of what ifs or only IF. Every Monday a couple of dozen NFL coaches second guess but only ONE gets it right by the end of the season.

In reality how many will or can actually act on a what if scnerio. There's a fine line between a witch hunt, mCcarthyism, paranoia and someone who needs a societal/system intervention. How many young adults out there fit this guys profile and are totally harmless. Stuff happens so worry about your own butt yourself and not rely on society to do it for you. If a person seems scary to you then YOU stay away, you do not wait for the system to take them away.

This was a cowards ambush in the dark of night so there isn't much you could've done other than lay down and play possum OR armed & defend yourself.

The victims didn't deserve this but victims of any man made or unanticipated death don't deserve it either.
