Action Needed To Manage Climate Change Risks; U.S. Response Should Be Durable, But Flexible

Warning that the risk of dangerous climate change impacts is growing with every ton of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, a National Research Council committee today reiterated the pressing need for substantial action to limit the magnitude of climate change and to prepare to adapt to its impacts.

To date, the most dire pronouncement of temp increase is the IPCC, with .7*C since the beginning of the industrial age.

2010 increase in temps varied by less than .1*C by all the reporting agencies. Hadcrut had an .498*C increase over their average. NOAA took the highest increase spot, had about a .6*C increase over their average. Both of these numbers had an +/-.1*C margin of error.

Our temps have increased about one half of one degree celisus. Logically it's hard to think that one half of one degree celisus could not be a natural variation in temperatures.
