Too real means too creepy at the movies

Computer animation has a problem: When it gets too realistic, it starts creeping people out.

It always seemed rather stupid to take human actors, film them, and converter their motion into CGI characters that are made to look as human as possible.

Uhm, if you are looking for realistic humans, stick with the humans you started out with. Don't turn them into computer generated characters.

I agree with that, but just a theory, converting a movie to an animated one places it in a different category, as far as movie awards go, and seeing as creators of animated movies cannot compete in the "real" movies, they place themselves above the likes of shrek, etc., either that, or the stunts performed, and scenes, are harder to create in real life.

I remember when that movie first came out. Many people were creeped out. I never believed in devils or demons but nonetheless, that movie freaked me out. I recall after coming home that night from the theater; I checked the attic in my house - spooky! Although the movie doesn't have the same impact it did when I first saw it, it's still a chlller. There have been times when I found this movie extremely hilarious too. Depends on ones mood I suppose, or if you really believe in such things. Aliens 2 really scared me. Even if those things aren't real, they were creepy enough to give me a nightmare or 2.

That's a GREAT movie- they went to great pains to make it as realistic as possible, down to the small details.

The book is great too. Right though, tough stuff to take.

I was the same age as Linda Blair when I first saw that movie. For it's time, it was spooky. Now I am like you- sometimes it makes me laugh at how young and dumb it seems now.

Micheal Moore got elected to be our president.
He then had chavis and castro over to be cabinat members and Hillary left Bill for Moore.

He gives me the creeps.

As a strong republican, I agree with you. I don't want to see Trump as pres. I like Palin, but not for president. I would like to see her more as a..... one night stand.

I like Romney, the problems our country faces, he has dealt with with success in his personal career. I would like to see Romney for pres and Condi Rice for VP. And a one night stand.

Maybe a twosome with Palin and Rice. Naw, one at a time.
Palin and Trump both in my opinion are not pres material. We need to do better. Either Rice or Romney for me. Both are really smart and have the ability to lead.
