Warning..For those of you who do not live in Lake County. Consider this fair warning, concerning Mr. Farrington. Although we would be very happy to lose him as our supervisor, it is hard using good moral judgement to not warn you of the real Tony Farrington. Tony is a Good Old Boy from way back, his record of performance here in Lake County is poor at best. Under his "leadership" downtown Lakeport is a ghost town. He along with several other elected officials here are essentially on the "take." The wink wink system of governance is alive and well and Tony is a player in that scheme. Lake County just received the state report on overall health in each county. Lake County ranked dead last. I invite you to see for yourself: http://health.lakecountyca.gov/ Tony was recently called on the carpet for attempting to practice local criminal law while maintaining his status as a supervisor. He has been seen as having too close of a "relationship" with the DA. I am not casting these disparaging facts out of anger nor for the purpose of personal attack or desired ends. From strictly an intellectual and progressive thought process, having vision and ideas Tony is terribly lacking. He, currently in a young political career attempt is not ready to handle Napa and the rest of the larger and more complex demographics of the Assembly. It is now more widely anticipated that many of the old guard will lose their next election in Lake County, there is simply to much that is wrong and ill conceived. Tony would be one of those. For Mr. Farrington to tout his 4 terms (by virtue of the voting demographic nepotism and cronyism that kept him in office.) with the opportunity for change during that time that never happened is quite the reach on his part. My advice look for the very very very best in this assembly choice and this is not the one.
