Port Costa brick works to become park land

This will provide much needed access to the water, a place for everyone to park when using the section of the Bay Trail between Port Costa and Martinez along with the myriad of other potential uses for the property. It virtually guarantees an uninterupted greenbelt for the Carquinez Shoreline so we can all get away without driving for hours. A trip out to Port Costa and the Park is only a few miles but you feel like your 100 miles away and turned back the time about 50 years. Thank you East Bay Regional Park for aquiring this property.

Man! I haven't been out there in over 25 years... Looks like it's time for a daytrip.
