Smoking Increases Potential For Metastatic Pancreatic cancer

Smoking has once again been implicated in the development of advanced cancer. Exposure to nicotine by way of cigarette smoking may increase the likelihood that pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma will become metastatic, according to researchers from the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson.

I've only known 2 people personally that have died of pancreatic cancer. The first my doctor at age 44 then my boss at 42. Neither of them were smokers but, ironically, both were addicted to beef jerky. The doctor went fast, in 2 months, and the boss at about 6 months.
