The first rule of Hippocrates for doctors is, "Do no harm (to the patient)". I have never heard that exercise did any harm, except under the wrong conditions or in excess; it is a very good idea to incorporate it into one's daily life, even if no definitive correlation between it and the brain shrinkage of Alzheimer's can be established at present. Exercise can prevent or alleviate many conditions, including mild depression.
