Sean, we are fortunately a nation of laws. Bush DID lose the popular vote in 2000, but he won the electoral college vote - and according to our Constitution, it is the members of the electoral college who elect the president - not the popular vote taken as a whole. Yes, the Supreme Court stepped in and stopped the Florida recount - but it seems pretty obvious that the recount was not going in Gore's favor.
Aren't you a school principal? Shame on you for advocating rioting. We have the right to peaceably assemble and to petition our govt for redress of grievances - or for anything else for that matter. But we don't have the right to break the law and we don't have the right to riot and run amok. Not even when our favorite sports team wins a championship and we can't resist the urge to overturn cars and light fires and loot in celebration :)
Just goes to show how broken this system really is.

You are right. And I am aware of the electoral college. I guess some would say we don't have the right to break the law. I guess I think back tothe Jim Crow south and segregation. I think of suffrage and the women's rights movements. If somene had not broken the law, women still would not be able to vote or own land, and blacks would still be drinking out of "colored only" water fountains.

And that "we were only following orders" doesn't obsolve anyone. At least, it didn't in Nuremburg (sp?).

Hell, it used to be like that here in the US. If bush and the evil republicans had tried to pull that sh*t in the sixties, his inauguration speech would have been canceled.
In the 60's the Democrats were the evil bad guys and the Republicans were going to save us from them. Google Democratic National Convention 1968 in Chicago.

If ANY party had pulled the sh*t bush and his cabal have pulled, there would have been major protests in every city in America. Now the only people we have protesting are unemployed hippies who make stupid signs.

We in Florida only have to think back to "selection 2000" where some claim 300,000 persons were denied their rights to vote, and 2004 Diebold time where God knows how many votes were reprogrammed Republican

Hey jethro too funny, just another poster no need to fear this little troll.
Back to Tillman who is the tip of this despicable cesspool have you heard about LaVena Johnson A black woman in the military who was found dead in a contractors tent gloves glued onto her hands broken nose broken arm multiple facial bruises lye or some kind of acid poured into her vagina to cover DNA tracks then someone tried to burn her and all the evidence it appears that she was raped and murdered. However, the military is not seeking to conduct an investigation saying it was a suicide. Thank you very much Supreme Leaders
