Hey Colombo, the guy said that a man named Phil and a man named Jimmy were with him. Now, I am not in law enforcement, but I think that might be a good place to start. Not to steal your thunder here right before you crack the big case, but others on this board seemed to think there is nothing that can be done in this case. What does all your years on the job say?

I remember that Tommy was involved in counterfeiting and murder he stuffed a body down a well years ago and confessed to it before his death.
I am suggestion he may have been involved in Jackson's death . It is hard to say now that he is dead

He was tried for the "man in the well" murder, and was found not guilty. I didn't know that he later confessed to it! Talk about getting away with murder!

Turn in your badge and repay the citizen of Treutlen County for your salary. Are you kidding? The guy told you who the prime suspects were. This is why we need Danny Phillips.

I know. They were talking about the Jimmy Jackson murder. Everyone in town knows who was involved with the man in the well. How could Tommy Ricks be involved if the man's nephew is telling you all of the people who was with him the night of the death?

I do not recall the tine frame of the Jimmy Jackson murder. I only mentioned that Tommy Ricks was questioned on some unsolved murders and might not even be connected. I just tossed out a name

I agree, Tommy has a tough job keeping law and order in Treutlen County, but he does the job and does it very well. If you check the facts, Treutlen County has a very low crime rate with no unsolved capital crimes. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't with his critics, but those are the kind of people who will never be satisfied with anything good that anyone does. Tommy Corbin gets my vote on November 4, and any other time he chooses to run as well.

People need to realize that the Sheriff is only human and his Deputies are also. They put their life in danger every time they are in public.

Give them a huge pay raise. They are the ones that deserve it. How would you like to have a thankless job that you do your best at?

Be thankful for our Deputies and Sheriff. Save your breath and count your blessings. Who do you call when you have trouble?

I was reading through some of these old posts and noticed that a lot of people were concerned about those that were running for an office with no prior experience. There has never been a first time elected official with experience to that office.Whether it be a city council member or president of the US,his/her first term is entered with no experience for that particular office. There is no way to elect a first time candidate to an office with experience. If you check back in history some of our greatest leaders had no experience at all....

I some times think no exp is better than bad exp myself! Just look at past term. County got a 2 million dollar metal building, no more secure than old jail.(i.e. inmates walking out, thanks sheriff Sanders for lettin them know they lost one) A budget bulging more than Miltons waist line.(i.e. driveing gas guzzling tahoes cause they dont fit in cars any more, could be ego not fittin though) Dare instructor older than the school the kids attend.( bet he relates well with such a generation gap) A sheriff who doesnt realize he works for whole county, not a chosen few!(transfer on dope bonds for chose ones) Thats the experience we need to re-elect!
