yes. education in all its forms is priority but unless we do something about the rising cost of tuition many dreams will be twarted.

anyway,i think that we as a people should focus more on trade such as carpentry, contruction, electricians, plumbing, upholstery, etc... etc..

I agree with you 100%. What use is a group of men that can't build for their people?

I was promoting this idea on another thread when Cap Black attacked the idea that Black men should go to school and learn this information and learn how to design structures etc.

He referred to all this as the "the white man stuff".

As an engineer that travels a lot I always look to see how many black males are doing what jobs so that I can kind of guage our ability to build for ourselves.

Right now you have 2 dynamics with AA men. 1 encourages the young black males to excel in school and learn all they can, and the other to completely ignore all school training etc.
