Plans to remodel city district under way
Tyler's bustling medical district and Tyler Junior College area is slated for a crisp new look, greater accessibility and possibly a name change for portions of Beckham Avenue.

We don't need to rename portions of any street or road. It makes navigating a city more confusing for visitors.
Make the place look nice and appealing, so businesses and visitors will be attracted to the area, stimulating economic growth.
Much of Tyler looks like a dump. Any effort to spiff up the place is welcome, as long as there is not too much tax money involved, or if the returns make up for the tax money spent.
