from livingchurch:

"The Episcopal Church’s first openly partnered gay bishop referred only inferentially to conflicts in the Anglican Communion. Nor did he note the church’s recent approval of a second partnered gay bishop: the Rev. Canon Mary D. Glasspool, soon to be consecrated a suffragan bishop of Los Angeles."

Apparently Bishop Robinson is not relishing his new role as "second banana" to Rev. Glasspool.

“You know what,” he said, referring to gay-rights critics,“they can’t have the Bible anymore.… We’ve been told something’s wrong with us from birth, and it makes us unworthy …[but] Jesus says you have been made worthy — by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.”

REFUTE THE WORDS OF CHRIST JOE!!!!

Well, we got rid of all our old bibles a long time ago !

For years we've been using "Pastor Bob's Poetry & Home Beer-making Guide".

Here's to having a cold one with you and Selecia and MW and GayMom and AquarNSF and George and a few others, Stan.

George can even bring his bible and drink tea, if he likes.

Actually, I attend church each and every Sunday because I enjoy it. The past few months I've been church-shopping, because I relocated my place of residence . I attended 2 Lutheran churches last Sunday, and I will be attending 2 Lutheran churches this Sunday morning. So far I've attended 11 churches multiple times in the past few months. I intend on going to another 3 churches before deciding on a church to attend regularly and join. I was a member of the Sayville Congregational United Church Of Christ the past 14 years. I also minored in theology at college. I consider myself a devout Protestant.

You don't take EVERYTHING I say here seriously, do you ?!
