If you saw a train more than 3 miles long Friday, you weren't hallucinating.Beginning about 12:30 p.m., a test train with 295 rail cars and nine locomotives left Dallas' intermodal yard and made its way along a track parallel to Division Street in Arlington and through Davidson Yard in Fort Worth.

I am sure you followed the train along the highway. When and if you decide to run these on a regular basis and we experience a UDE walking will take a long time. If a UDE happens in a town you will have the whole town tied up. Doesn't make good sense to run these things but every few years some collage educated idiot thinks it would be a great idea but eventually you return to normal sane operations.

Just think about if there was a problem with the train and an ambulance was sitting there. Its bad enough with 8-10000 feet.
