I am amazed that Dr. Billy Hawkins would hire a sex offender at TC! Even if Mr.Bonds
had been exonerated, the allegations that he had assaulted a student and been FIRED
from his previous position and had a criminal record, should have kept Bonds from being hired. The Board of Trustees needs to get involved an have Bonds resign. It is not fair to the students to be put in this situation. Did an educated man like Dr. Hawkins not learn from the Penn State incident? Who knows if other men might not come forward and say they too had been abused by Bonds? Can TC be put in the financial position, of having lawsuits re: sexual assault.?
I do not blame Alabama School for Deaf and Blind for not allowing TC to house students at their campus. I would not want my child be be any where close to Bonds!
