Will you wear Green for Sami on Wednesday 19th ? Sami Sigel is a senior at Southern Fulton High School. She has been very sick from lyme disease for over four years and hasn’t been able to attend school. She is not being permitted to submit a senior picture into the yearbook or newspaper because it was not taken by Lifetouch. Lifetouch came to her house and took two pictures with minimal lighting because she has severe light intolerance and they turned out awful. Half of her nose appears to be missing because of the lack of lighting. She took a picture herself in the Lifetouch drape with minimal lighting and it turned out much better, but the school won’t allow that picture to be submitted. She just recently has been able to start attending school some, but she has to go with her head covered up due to the light intolerance. She didn’t get to go to her Junior or Senior Prom because in an email, she was sent..the school wouldn’t be accommodating to her light intolerance by putting up fake candles instead of real flames. Yet they put the fake candles out and didnt tell Sami...she missed the prom thinking she couldnt attend there would be real candles there. Any small amount of light like that could make her have a seizure and go into a coma. All she wants is a senior picture where she doesn’t look deformed. She has missed out on so much. Having her picture in the yearbook would mean a lot to her. Please join in the fight to allow Sami Sigel to have her picture submitted in the yearbook.Show your support by wearing green to school on Wednesday, May 19th.The School and Lifetouch can bend the rules. the Sami Sigel story is heartbreaking but spun out of control. People are passing along rumors and dont know any of the behind the scenes facts. Like the school giving her almost every thing they can to help her.My sister works there so I know whats true.
Like the person posting most these messages about her is not even a Lyme patient but her mother’s best friend. Like the money being sent to her family.
Like the classmates seeing her do things in the light and feeling better than these postings claim.
Like Sami herself begging people publicly to NOT do this sort of campaign and her own mother and that best friend ignoring this.
There is a lady on facebook who is being harassed by the same “best friend” of Sami’s Mom and if you go there she will share honestly the stuff sent to her so you can see for yourselves.
I didnt beleive and asked her and I just read how this crazy lady who is posting stuff about Sami to “help” her–thinks Lyme patients deserve what they got!! and that SHE dont have the Lymes due to her being a “good person”!!! thats nuts
the lady is Finnette Rusak if you want to see for yourselfs.
