You can admit people to college all you want to. The bottom line, and the hardest part, is to prove that you can tow the line once you're admitted. I've seen all kinds of students ( black, white, yellow and brown) fail in the first two semesters even though they were great students in high school. I wasn't a great student in highschool but I can damn sure say that I'm outdoing a lot of so called "smart students" because I'm determined, motivated and I believe I can do anything if giving a chance.
