With international food markets, it hardly matters where the climate change happens. It will affect YOUR food bill. Be in bananas in February or winter wheat in August.

With regard to the food prices, the effects are already seen in case of the essential food items. Wheat prices have shot up due to lack of rain(thanks to global warming)in quite a few places.
