Putin's Russia has an economy only slightly bigger than Italy or Canada, and hopes to hide its obvious decline with threats and bluster.

That won't last as its true weakness becomes more and more apparent.

The Soviet Union was the "greatest geo-political catastrophe of the twentieth century", and at this rate it will take a century for Russia to repair the damage 73 years of communist rule, and decades of post-soviet thug crony capitalism have caused!
