"Take the passenger pigeon. "We are the murderers," Mr. Greely said. "We killed them off. Shouldn't we bring them back?""
"Before humans killed them, the nation had three billion to five billion passenger pigeons. They would take days to cross a city, noted Hank Greely, the director of the Stanford Center for Law and the Biosciences at Stanford University. "They left cities covered in an inch of guano," he said."

Now, we have the relatively few remaining Band-tailed pigeons & doves to enjoy. More pigeons in the wild are needed.
Uncaring & unloving animal haters, say, "We kilt 'em off 'fore. No neet to kilt 'em off again".
Man-unkind's ability to kill the passenger pigeon population has amply been demonstrated. Doesn't even need many guns, at all.
Bring back the passenger pigeon. Millions of people, who feel the lack of animals, besides humans, on this planet, want them back!
